Thousands gathered on the Penn State campus to pay their final respects to longtime football coach Joe Paterno.
Students, faculty, coaches and former players all honored Joe Pa, the 85-year-old legendary coach who died on Sunday after a battle with lung cancer.
The Hall of Fame coach was fired last year by university trustees in the wake of child sex-abuse charges against his former assistant coach Jerry Sandusky. Sandusky is alleged to have sexually abused numerous young boys over the course of 15 years.
Thousands of students, alumni and fans took to the streets in and around Penn State as an electric-blue hearse carrying Joe Pa slowly drove through the campus.
