Young Hollywood had a chance to rub elbows with President Barack Obama the other day as part of a new White House initiative called the Young America Effort. The new initiative touts Hollywood’s youngest stars in helping promote the importance of voting to their young fans come this November.

Obama greeted 25 actors at a private and impromptu meeting at the Beverly Hilton Hotel in Beverly Hills where he had been staying.

The list of big name stars included Jessica Alba, Zach Braff and Jared Leto to name a few.

Dianna Agron, 26, of Glee tweeted about her early morning rendezvous with the special speaker, saying: 

“Maybe the only man I truly get nervous around. Worth the early wakeup call. @BarackObama”

Fantastic Four star Jessica Alba, 31, was also waxing lyrical about the 44th President and tweeted: 

“Got up bright & early to hear @BarackObama speak w an awesome group #YoungAmerChat”

Obama chatted to the room about his reelection campaign and urged them to use their influence to help keep him in the White House for another four years.

Former Superman actor Brandon Routh tweeted: 

“Honored to speak w/ POTUS @BarackObama again today! Looking forward to helping #GetTheVoteOut.”

It’s a good look for Hollywood’s up and coming stars to use their influence in helping America change for the better!
