The plot thickens in the George Zimmerman case.
George Zimmerman’s wife, mother, and brother will all take the witness stand to be questioned by prosecutors as well as Seminole Country Sheriff employees and unidentified others.
It’s unclear how the family member’s testimonies will aid in convicting Zimmerman in the second-degree murder of an unarmed Trayvon Martin.
Zimmerman’s brother, Robert Zimmerman Jr, and his mother, have been very vocal in their support of Zimmerman. Robert has a history of using Twitter to express his views on race and the treatment of his brother. He even compared Martin to a black Georgia teen accused of killing an infant.
Zimmerman’s mother released a letter via Twitter saying that her son is innocent and the criminal justice system is flawed.
Zimmerman’s trial will begin June 10. Perhaps his family should stand clear of Twitter till then.
