Republican presidential hopeful Rick Santorum has raked in plenty of cash in the last three days!
After his big win last Tuesday resulting in him grabbing Missouri, Colorado and Minnesota the former Pennsylvania Senator has received 3 million dollars in donations!

This news is especially shocking considering most polls marked Santorum at just fourth out of the five Republican contenders just a couple weeks ago. Santorum, who promotes himself as a family man, has been distinguished amongst the candidates for his strong opposition to abortion and same-sex marriage.

WASHINGTON — The money race is heating up between Republican rivals Rick Santorum and Mitt Romney, with each pocketing more than $1 million in a day.
Santorum raised $1 million again yesterday, bringing his three-day total to $3 million since his stunning primary and caucus wins Tuesday in Colorado, Minnesota and Missouri.
Santorum’s campaign had been running on fumes following a string of primary losses after he was belatedly determined to have been the winner of the Iowa caucus on Jan. 3.
The cash infusion came just in time to make Santorum competitive with Romney, previously considered the front-runner for the GOP presidential nomination, in big primaries Feb. 28 in Michigan and Arizona and in the crucial Super Tuesday contests March 6.
Romney, whose campaign already had about $20 million in the bank, picked up another $1.3 million at a fund-raising event Thursday night in Washington.
President Obama, meanwhile, raised a tidy $800,000 at a fund-raising event at the swank Jefferson Hotel in Washington, just hours after picking up $1 million at an event in a private residence in the well-to-do Kalorama neighborhood.
Santorum may not have as much capital as Mitt Romney but he certainly looks like he is gaining more momentum.
