Despite rumors that George Zimmerman would be granted a new judge, Judge Debra S. Nelson will continue to preside over his case.

Reports that Judge Alva would be taking over the case started after was assigned to criminal cases and Judge Nelson started handling civil cases.

Judge Nelson, however, has chosen to keep the Zimmerman case on her docket, and we suspect the Seminole County Clerk of Courts website will be manually updated to reflect this soon.
