Santorum has deined that he almost called President Obama the n-word in a statement given by his spokesman Hogan Gidley.
According to Raw Story, Gidley said-
“Oh, come on!. Give me a break. That’s unbelievable. What does it say about those that are running with this story that that’s where their mind goes. You know, I’m not going to dignify that with [a response]. That is absolutely ridiculous.”

Stumbling over a word that sounds a lot like the n-word when talking about President Obama, Santorum quickly caught himself and trailed off, continuing his sentence.
“We know, we know the candidate Barack Obama, what he was like. The anti-war government nig- uh, the uh America was a source for division around the world.”
Santorum has been very vocal about Obama in the past, going so far as to say that the President has a phony theology when it comes to governing.
But as for the video, if Santorum wasn’t about to say the n-word, then what was he trying to say? It goes to show that’s what Santorum sees when he looks at the President.
