LMAO! SNL Kicks Off The Season With An Obama Impersonation (VIDEO)

Posted September 16, 2012 by Evanka Williamson for Global Grind Staff

With the Presidential election coming up and what better way to kick off the 38th season of Saturday Night Live than with an impersonation of the big man, President Obama.

DETAILS: President Obama Responds To Libya Attack

Last night, Jay Pharoah opened the show taking on the character of the Democratic parties' leading man, while Jason Sudeikis impersonated Mitt Romney and Taran Killam put on a perfect Wisconsin accent as he acts as Paul Ryan.

Pharoah nailed it, re-enacting some of the President's best moments, singing a bit of Al Green much like when Obama broke out in song during a speech at a fundraising event this past January.

Election season can take on a very serious tone but SNL did a good job of getting some laughs out of us.

Check out the spoof in the video above!
