Murder charge? Let’s set him free.
Steven L. Robbins, 44, is a convicted murderer who has been mistakenly released in Chicago and police are asking for the public’s help to bring him in.
Since 2004, Robbins was serving a 60-year prison sentence for murder and weapons in Indiana, but traveled to Chicago to face a drug charge that was later dropped.

Douglas Garrison, spokesman for the Indiana Department of Corrections, says, “It’s quite clear that all of the paperwork from IDOC was in order, so that they would have known that he was supposed to be returned to us.”
With recent shootings in the Chicago area, you would pray that mistakes like these weren’t made. We hope that Chicago does not suffer due to Robbin’s recent release.
