The Stop Kony movement has exploded across the social media sphere, seeking to end the tyrannical reign of Uganda’s Lord's Resistance Army leader Joseph Kony.
Invisible Children's latest film, KONY 2012, directed by Jason Russell, aims to make 2012 Kony's last as the leader of Africa's longest running insurgency, which is why they have chosen 20 culture makers and 12 policymakers to lend their voices and influence to stop the messianic leader Kony by the end of 2012.
This is one thing that both Republicans and Democrats can agree upon: asking them to make a public statement that they support international efforts to stop Kony now.
The world listens to these 32 people and they listen to us, their influence comes from us. So send your voices to the twelve policymakers who can supply the proper resources to end Kony’s reign this year.
