The gunman who shot two people at a Houston community college campus has been identified as 22-year-old Carlton Berry.

Berry is now being charged with aggravated assault; however, he remains hospitalized because of a self-inflicted wound after he mishandled his gun.
A little after 2 p.m., the search became moot when a man suspected in the shooting showed up at Northwest Medical Center. Authorities said he apparently shot himself in the hip accidentally while handling his weapon.
Fortunately, no one was killed in yesterday’s school shooting at Lone Star College, but investigators say a maintenance man was caught in the crossfire and students went running into classrooms under desks. The shooting is said to have stemmed from an argument between two people on Tuesday.

Investigators have yet to release the identities of the victims.
