
Terence S. Tyler has been identified as the suspected gunman who opened fire inside an Old Bridge, NJ Pathmark this morning, killing two employees.

Tyler's friends and neighbors have described him as a normal, quiet kid, none ever expecting the former Marine to do something so horrible.
Tyler was armed with an AK-47 assault rifle and an automatic pistolm, when he opened fire inside the store early this morning, killing Cristina LoBrutto and Bryan Breen before turning one of the weapons on himself.Here are a few things to know about Terence S. Tyler:
-Tyler served less than two years in the military, and never went overseas, according to Capt. Kendra Motz, a Marine spokeswoman.
-Tyler entered the Marines on March 24, 2008 and listed his hometown as Brooklyn, NY. He was stationed Twentynine Palms in California, home of the Marine Air Ground Task Force Training Command.
-Tyler’s speciality as a Marine was “0311 - Rifleman” — or the general infantry.
-Tyler received the Global War on Terrorism Service Medal, and the National Defense Service Medal.
-He was discharged on Feb. 27, 2010.
-Tyler is said to have lived at the nearby London Terrace apartment complex, directly behind the store.
- On Nov, 13, 2009, when he was in the Marines, Tyler sent this tweet:
“I JUST got off work smh these dudes r a F***** riot smh I c y plp go on violent killin sprees....I reallly do.”
Tyler reportedly finished his shift at work, but returned about 3:30 a.m. armed with his weapons and multiple magazines. He started firing randomly, hitting the two employees according to witnesses.
