The God M.C. Jay-Z and his Rocawear clothing brand are taking heat for their newly designed “Occupy All Streets” t-shirts due to the misconception of where the proceeds are going to go.

In a statement sent to Gawker, a spokesman for Rocawear said that the company hasn’t decided where the proceeds are going to go.

The ‘Occupy All Streets’ t-shirt was created in support of the ‘Occupy Wall Street’ movement. Rocawear strongly encourages all forms of constructive expression, whether it be artistic, political or social. ‘Occupy All Streets’ is our way of reminding people that there is change to be made everywhere, not just on Wall Street. At this time we have not made an official commitment to monetarily support the movement.

We’re not really sure why Jay is taking so much heat for this when he’s doing something positive by bringing awareness to the Occupy movement.

Our boss man Uncle Rush has also said he’s proud of his friend Jay-Z for this very reason.

Jay-Z debuted the shirt earlier this week as a pic of him backstage after his Watch the Throne Tour stop at Madison Square Garden, was snapped while with Russell.

We’re rockin’ with our man Jay-Z and everything his new tee’s stand for!

Where do you think the proceeds of the t-shirt should go?
