Longchamp Teams Up With Mary Katrantzou For A Festive Collection Of Bags (PHOTOS)

Posted January 12, 2012 by Jason Brooks for Global Grind Staff

After a long history of collaborating with Jeremy Scott, we guess Longchamp decided it was time to branch out!

This time around, the Paris-based brand decided to work with British designer Mary Katrantzou on a capsule collection of handbags.

Available exclusively at Paris boutique Colette starting January 23rd, the bags will feature Katrantzou's signature digital prints, with an "East Meets West" theme of intricate composites of paper lanterns, dragons, and Asian architecture.

The bags also happen to have a release date on Chinese New Year.

If you aren't in Paris on the 23rd for the release of the Longchamp x Mary Katrantzou collaboration, have no fear, the collection will see a larger release later on.

In the meantime, you can take a look at bags from the collection in the accompanying gallery above.
