You can always count on Modern Family actress Sofia Vergara to look great on a red carpet and her appearance tonight at the 2012 Golden Globes was no exception.

We must say, however, that Sofia's look is predictable in that she's looked like this before!

We always expect something tight and curvy on the Colombian import. This time however, she appears to have lost her signature curves in this blue mermaid inspired dress by Vera Wang. But she does look like a slim water goddess!

Did we mention that Sofia's dress is also backless? Vergara is the third actress seen with her back out tonight. 

Ryan Seacrest says that Sofia did two days in the gym to get into this dress, but we don't believe him.
