Republican presidential hopeful and former Massachusetts Governor Mitt Romney has once again proved that he is too wealthy and elite to be concerned with America's 99 percent.
Today in a CNN interview with news anchor Soledad O'Brien, Romney said "I'm not concerned about the very poor; we have a safety net there. If it needs to repair I'll fix it."
He later added:
"You can choose where to focus. You can focus on the rich; that's not my focus. You can focus on the very poor; that's not my focus. My focus is on middle income Americans."
We hope that Mitt Romney will eventually realize that it is not just the middle class that needs his attention. Poor people are suffering to a great extent and their situations do need repair.
