FRONT ROW: Tommy Hilfiger Puts A Twist On The Basics For NYFW (PHOTOS)

Posted February 11, 2012 by Rachel Hislop for Global Grind Staff

When it comes to his element of design, Tommy Hilfiger knows what works, and sticks to it.

The showing of his Fall/Winter Menswear collection last night proved this. On the runway, Tommy displayed an array of deep maroons, quilted leather, and the distant cousin to color blocking that seems to be fabric blocking.

Front row to check out Tommy's design ascetic were some of the most dapper guys in the game including Bradley Cooper, Russell Simmons, Kellean Lutz and Super Bowl winner Victor Cruz.

The line has taken a shift from the "Pop Prep" womens collection that he showed during last NYFW that featured Motocross, stripes, leather, camouflage and color blocking as central themes.

Check out the gallery above for a front row view of the looks that went down the runway.
