Reese Witherspoon Made A Domestic Violence Example Out Of Rihanna (PHOTOS)

Posted February 29, 2012 by Marjua Estevez for Global Grind Staff

Our favorite good girl gone bad, Rihanna, is one hell of a fashion vixen. RiRi has a stellar body and can get away with tons of different styles. From sexy to punk rock to '80s to ballroom, Rihanna always pulls it off!

And speaking of varied get-ups, the pop princess took it all the way to London to get back to her jeans. She suited up in all-jean, equipped with long-legged leather boots and a black fitted that read Dream Team.

Of course, often times juxtaposed with talk on Rihanna's wardrobe is the babble about her alleged past violent incident with then-boyfriend Chris Brown.

Which brings us to our next point: Even in the Witherspoon household Rihanna's name has come up.

Why? Well, because Oscar winner Reese Witherspoon is the Global Ambassador for the Avon foundation and knows that one in three women in the U.S. and worldwide will experience domestic violence in their lifetimes.

Ouch.

As a mother, Witherspoon told PEOPLE she talks to her kids — daughter Ava, 12, and son Deacon, 8 — "about domestic violence and what that means" and noted Rihanna's 2009 episode as a prime example:

"My daughter knows what happened. My son knows as well," says the Hollywood sweetheart.

"We talk about what is abuse. I think it's important to talk to our daughters – and our sons – in order to educate them at an early age about what's appropriate and what is absolutely not acceptable."

Fortunately, Reese is happily married to Hollywood agent Jim Toth and it proves to be testimonial for a healthy relationship.

Rihanna, we love you, but maybe you should take notes.
