Russell Brand’s phone throwing incident involving a photographer isn't going away just yet. New Orleans police have issued a warrant for the actor's arrest.
According to TMZ, New Orleans police said a misdemeanor warrant for criminal damage to property was issued against Brand following his run-in with a photographer on Monday while filming a movie in Nawlins.
The comedic actor is accused of grabbing the photographer’s iPhone and throwing it through the window of a nearby law firm.
People connected to Brand contacted the law firm and said the actor would be willing to pay for the damage to the window.
Brand tweeted the other day:
“Since Steve Jobs died I cannot bear to see anyone use an iPhone irreverently, what I did was a tribute to his memory.”
The jokes never stop with Brand; hopefully he can resolve this issue and move-on.
