In the video for "Part of Me," the first single off the re-release of Katy Perry's Teenage Dream album, our gal Katy does something drastic when she finds out her boyfriend is cheating.

Not only does she leave him on the spot, but she cuts off all her hair, puts on her best angry face and joins the Marines. 

From there, she turns into a complete badass, competing all of the rigorous Marine-activities. She even runs off to combat when it's time. 

By the time the video is over, Katy has made the transition from the beautiful bright-eyed Katy we all know, to a scowling Katy with camouflage face paint. Some of the break-up elements might hit home for the singer considering that she's currently going through a divorce from her ex-husband funnyman Russell Brand.

Creative video, Katy. But please don't take things too literal.
