Arguably the most fun awards show of the season, the 2012 Golden Globes kicked off this afternoon with Kelly Osbourne wearing a blue pointy shouldered mermaid gown by Zac Posen, and her tresses in platinum blonde. 

Kelly took to Twitter before hitting the red carpet, thanking Posen for his work. The singer and former reality TV star also tweeted photos of her look before it all came together.

"Here is the final look," Kelly tweeted to her followers, "thank you @Zac_Posen."

Kelly's look is very surprising. We're used to seeing her in much younger looking outfits, but this new hair color ages her considerably. 

One thing is certain, however: Posen's dress does make her look tall and thin, something Kelly hinted at several hours ago when she spoke to E! at the Art of Elysium Heaven's Gala.

"It's straight from the runway and I cannot believe it f--king fit me," Osbourne said. "It is to die for. It's blue, but that's the only hint I'll give you. It makes me look 10 feet tall and anorexic. I love it."
