Nicole Richie is always an interesting study on red carpets! At this year's Golden Globe Awards she manages to keep her silhouette in tact with a silver and sleeveless dress by Julien McDonald.

Nicole accessorized her shimmery look in matching silver, diamonds and ruby bracelets. Her look reminds us of Barbara Eden! That's not a bad thing, it's just surprising that Nicole looks like a genie, fresh out of a bottle! 

We blame her mini bouffant, bangs and the kohl eyes. The fact that the dress is backless adds a bit of playfulness to the evening. We love Nicole's  body language here, it says fun, slinky and relaxed!
