We thought the American version of the MTV Awards had it all, until we got a first hand look at the red carpet lineup at the 2012 MTV European Music Awards! The show had a star-studded lineup of just about every big name under the shining sun, and a near stage tumble from Kim Kardashian.

The red carpet saw the likes of Rita Ora, who played it big showing some European pride in a fiery red ball gown with lace detailing. Kim K. also glammed in up in a black dress with a train that made her assets look larger than life as well. 

As expected, Taylor Swift donned a look from the metallic family tree and went home with an armful of awards.
