Last night the stars came out to share their love for the ballet at the 2012 New York City Ballet Fall Gala.

People from the world of sports, entertainment and of course, the ballet, were on hand at the David H. Koch Theater at Lincoln Center for the festivities.

Guests included Dark Knight Rises star Anne Hathaway, Sarah Jessica Parker, Sean Avery, Martha Stewart, and even fashion designer Valentino Garavani, who recently designed some of the costumes for the New York City Ballet.

Along with talking about his work on the show, Valentino revealed that he personally designed the dress Anne Hathaway will be wearing during her wedding.

The 80-year-old Valentino had this to say about the actress:

"She's sensational. She's fantastic. She's a girl that...She deserves what she has in this life. [That] means, she's already a great star. But she's going to be a great, great, great, great thousand times great star. She has all the qualities."
