The Laguna based brand was founded by Shawn Stussy somewhere on a beach in California when the local surfboard shaper threw his signature skate logo on a t-shirt...making history from there. 

The brand has since evolved to encompass the grit of the surf culture while managing to encompass the global grit that stuck a fashion nerve with tastemakers world wide.
