Adriana Lima Is Strong & Serious For DKNY In Haiti (PHOTOS)

Brazilian supermodel and Victoria's Secret Angel Adriana Lima's new campaign for Donna Karan 2012 is out, and we've learned that it was shot in Haiti.

Actually, there's a note that says as much right on the image, which shows two Haitian kids photographed adjacent to Lima.

Without that very informative text the image would have rendered the teenagers as props, a practice used by photographers to enhance an image.

But with Karan's summer sojourn and fundraising efforts to aid Haiti, along with Rachel Roy and Martha Stewart, we totally get that the New York-based designer is trying to call attention to the rebuilding efforts of the impoverished Carribean island devastated by earthquake last year.

Adriana was photographed by skilled photographer Russell James. She looks strong, serious and powerful in her DKNY safari inspired ensembles.
