Apple announcements are on their way to becoming the new Christmas! 

Apple enthusiasts and reporters alike are all geared up for the live stream unveiling of Apple’s newest project in California right now.

STORY: Two For Two! Apple To Make Another Colossal Announcement On October 17th!

There have been rumors about the launch of the new gadget, but nothing has been confirmed as of yet…until today! 

Here is all the info you need to know about the Apple iPad Mini: 

Apple announced a new version of iBooks that is integrated with iCloud, boasts new reading options and a sharing option that links with social media. The new version of iBooks is available today for free download. 

Mac Notebook Update: 

Apple released a brand new MacBook Pro that is 20 percent thinner than the 13 inch MacBook Pro. It is 3.5 pounds in weight. Features Facetime HD camera with 720p recording, stereo mics and speakers, backlit keyboard and of course, that patented glass multitouch trackpad. Phil says you can expect up to 7 hours of battery life.

The new MacBook Pro retails at $1,699 and is available today. 

iMac

The new generation is 80% thinner than previous models. It basically looks identical to the previous version, just thinner at the edges. Each display is said to be individually calibrated on the manufacturing line, and is said to have 75 percent less reflection due to that laminated display and a new anti-glare coating. The new model is 8 pounds lighter than the previous generation.

The 21.5-inch model is $1,299 and will start shipping in November. The 27-inch model starts with a 2.9GHz i5, 8GB of RAM for $1,799 and begins shipping in December.

iPad

Apple has unveiled both a new 4th Generation iPad in addition to a new, thinner iPad Mini. 

It’s 7.2mm thick, 1/4 thicker than the fourth-gen iPad. That’s as thin as a pencil. .68 pounds, half as light as a fouth-generation iPad. As light as a legal note pad of paper. 

iPad mini and 4th gen. iPad are up for pre order on the 26th. WiFi versions ship on November 2nd.
