Apple Haults iPhone 4S Sales After Riots Break Out In Beijing (VIDEO)

Sales of the iPhone 4S were halted in China, after a riot broke out at an Apple store in Beijing yesterday.

According to reports, hundreds of people camped out overnight in freezing weather to get their hands on the new phone.

But after the Apple store failed to open its doors at 7am, Chinese Apple fan-boys lost it, throwing eggs and debris at the store.

The video above shows the craziness.

Apple said that it feared for the safety of its store and employees and will now only sell the device online and through local retailers — not on the mainland for the time being.

Only time will tell when the iPhone 4S will be sold in China!
