The fab rap chick on the rise talked about everything from her musical start at LaGuardia Arts High School (Nicki Minaj's alma mater) to how her music landed in the hands of Interscope executive vice president Larry Jackson, who says he was "knocked out right away" by Banks' talent.

The New Yorker also dishes on her view of the crazy music industry, stating:
