Straight off her debut at the Costume Institute Gala on the arm of designer Alexander Wang serving as his muse, the “212” rapper’s latest photo shoot with Dossier Journal has hit the web.

For those accustomed to seeing the Harlem native donning Mickey Mouse clad ensembles with purple flowing hair, the newest photos of Azealia shot by Michael Flores, (noted for his work in Spin, Flaunt and In Bloom magazines) is a splash of refreshment.
The Dossier Journal photos feature the 20-year-old Azealia in an array of high-fashion glamour shots in her hair rollers and cobalt blue lace underwear sporting a classic pin-up girl glam that seems to be reserved for her spunky personality.

The photos show a dazzling contrast between Azealia “undone” in her rollers and negligee and “done” in black and white photos donning a head wrap and fierce cat eye.
Make up artist Keiko Takagi and hairstylist Lacy Redway perfected each statement look for the rapper’s shoot.
The high-fashion edge on the shoot makes perfect sense as Azealia has become the fashion it-girl virtually over night, performing for Karl Lagerfeld’s private soirées and serving as Alexander Wang’s muse-of-the-moment.
