We're used to seeing Solange rocking her long Poetic Justice braids like it's 1993 again, but when Queen Bey made a recent low key appearance at Nas' album release party in NYC, we couldn't help but reminisce on her old Destiny's Child days.

When Knowles first stepped onto the R&B scene along with her groupmates, they were the "It" girl group, and whether it was their clothing, hairstyles, Barbie dolls, etc. it was every girl, tween and teen's dream to have something that allowed them to channel their inner Destiny's Child. 

For Beyonce, it wasn't only her vocals that caught our attention, but her ability to rock all types of hairstyles for any occasion and leaving long, blonde braids as the common denominator in every look.
