Here is the key to just about any business boom: Get Beyonce to wear one of your designs. 

Bey was seen out enjoying lunch with her hubby last week, wearing a pair of "Obama" hoop earrings that garnered the attention of the masses.

The design was by Puerto Rican designer Erika Peña, who had a slow start with the handmade Obama earrings, but has since seen a surge in sales after Bey sported her designs. 

According to TMZ, Erika has seen a significant change in orders since Bey wore her designs. 

Up until last week, she had only sold 5 sets of the handmade earrings.

But her fortune changed overnight when Beyonce wore them last Saturday in NYC. Since then, Erika tells TMZ, she's sold over 1,300 PAIRS!  Erika tells us she received orders almost immediately from all over the world -- England, Switzerland, Chile, and Argentina ... with her biggest order coming from London.

The Obama hoops are only $32 - leave it to Bey to make a statement at a price anyone could afford.
