Gucci released the ad campaign for their new fragrance, Gucci Premiere, starring Blake Lively last month and said a short film to go along would be released in September.

Yet it looks like they decided to debut the video earlier than scheduled! The film, which was directed by Nicolas Winding Refn, was posted on their YouTube channel and continues with the theme of Old Hollywood seen in the initial ad.
The film was shot at the Sheats Goldstein Residence in Hollywood and features the Gossip Girl star in a gold Gucci sequined dress moving from the city to the desert.

In the description, Gucci hypes the fragrance as “an invitation to embrace one’s own red carpet moment” and Blake certainly looks red carpet glamorous!
