Budweiser Unveils Its New Beer Can Design! (PHOTOS)

The King of Beers is getting a makeover! Anheuser-Busch has decided to give their beer cans an ‘updated look’ and it has the company seeing a lot more red than its predecessor.

The Budweiser can, which hasn’t been changed since 2001, has a more contemporary look and features the brand’s bow tie, which was already on the bottles but not the can.

“Our refreshed packaging design gives Budweiser an updated look, which dramatizes the iconic Budweiser bowtie and incorporates the brand hallmarks that loyal Budweiser drinkers will recognize and appreciate,” Budweiser vice president Rob McCarthy said in a release.

The new can design is Budweiser’s 12th since Anheuser-Busch began offering its flagship brand in cans in 1936.
