Being the Sexiest Man Alive may be a heavy title to hold, but according to People Magazine, Channing Tatum has the title in a stronghold. 

The Magic Mike actor had women flocking to the theaters to check out his stripper moves that apparently paid off, giving him a pelvic thrust him right into the spot of the "Sexiest Man Alive for 2012."

Channing told the magazine that he didn't initially believe the honor belonged to him and shared exactly what he was doing when he received the news: 

"My first thought was, 'Y'all are messing with me. I told Jenna after we'd been in the bathtub washing our dogs because they'd gotten skunked."
