Damian Marley, the youngest son of Bob Marley, is continuing to work in the music industry and representing his Jamaican background.

GlobalGrind had the opportunity to sit down with the reggae artist in London at the indigO2, where he would be performing, to talk about his father and the 50th Anniversary of Jamaica's independence.

Damian hopes the exposure the 50th anniversary is gaining will show the younger generation just how important Jamaica's independence is.

The legend's son says he is still trying to figure out what the country's independence actually means, but he knows the country has certainly become more patriotic.
