Usually when celebs head out to a special event, a little pop of color is always a good addition. However Eva Longoria and Freida Pinto did quite the opposite - and looked phenomenal!

The two ladies showed up to the opening night gala dinner for the 65th Annual Cannes Film Festival at the Electrolux Agora Pavilion wearing similar black sheer gowns that looked amazingly individual on each of them.

Freida wore a dark sequined dress by Versace that showcased her beautiful legs with a thigh high slit. She accessorized with a sequined black clutch, dark earrings and black pumps. The 27-year-old Slumdog Millionaire star was all smiles last night, and in an ensemble this nice, we can't say we blame her!

Desperate Housewife Eva Longoria wore a black and semi-sheer dress, but the lace embellishments made her Alberta Ferretti number a showstopper. The Greek goddess-inspired floor length white and black creation was covered in a black mesh overlay.
