Fashion's Biggest Icons Get Made Over As SpongeBob SquarePants! (PHOTOS)

As much as we love the SpongeBob cartoons, we find it hard to believe that he is the only sponge in the sea.

Dutch illustrator Mike Frederiqo may have thought the same thing when he decided to turn some of today's fashion icons into SpongeBob-like characters.

Mike did an entire series of SpongeBob personifications that include the likes of Pharrell, Terry Richardson and even Marc Jacobs, who also isn't fond of wearing [square] pants.

All of the personifications have the same characteristics and outfits of their human counterparts, including accessories, outfits and even tattoos!
