Last night was the 2013 Miss Golden Globes award ceremony.

The award names the person who will assist with announcing and handing out the awards to this year's Golden Globe Winners.

The title of Miss (or Mr.) Golden Globe typically goes to the son or daughter of a celebrity; last year's Miss Golden Globe was Andie McDowell's daughter, Rainey Qualley.

Daughter of Clint Eastwood, Francesca Eastwood, took home the honor this year and looked great doing it in a purple leopard print part dress and glittery heels. 

In a statement shortly after Francesca received her award, the 19-year-old actress said:

"I am honored to have been chosen by the Hollywood Foreign Press to be Miss Golden Globe of 2013.  I have watched the Golden Globes ceremonies since I was a little girl, and it means so much to me to be a part of one of Hollywood's most illustrious events."
