Haroshi's Artwork Collaboration With HUF Transformed Into Clothing (PHOTOS)

Posted January 10, 2012 by Jason Brooks for Global Grind Staff

Yesterday we showed you artwork by Japanese based artist Haroshi, in collaboration with Bay area brand HUF and skateboard distributor DLX.

The artwork already seemed like something one could wear on a shirt with its multi-colors and lifelike sculptures, so it was only right that HUF made a few items inspired by the project.

Not only did Haroshi collaborate on the entire capsule collection, but reputable skate brands Spitfire, Krooked & Real Skateboards also lent a hand to the collaboration with hoodies and raglan tees from Spitfire, a Krooked t-shirt collaboration and Real Skateboards t-shirt collaboration.

Of course HUF also had a few special items of their own, with a Hufnagel Pro sneaker, HUF t-shirts and HUF snapback and 5-panel caps.

The entire collection features the colorful motif that Haroshi uses in his artwork as a result of recycling so many skateboards to make his polished sculptures.

Take a look at the entire HUF x Haroshi capsule collection in the gallery above.
