British actor Idris Elba sure knows how to make an introduction!

The Thor and Luther actor-producer dropped quite the bombshell when he introduced Tanqueray's Most Stylish Man, Matt Smith, at The GQ 2011 Men of the Year Awards held in Covent Garden in London a few weeks ago:

When I was eight, I was a page boy at a wedding. I had to wear a bow tie. It wasn't a proper bow tie, it has a string attached and every time my mum pinged it, I would get involuntarily aroused. I only use it on odd occasions now.  But one man who has managed to keep the bow tie very stylish and cool has two names: the first is Doctor Who. The second is Matt Smith!" And that folks, is how you launch into a discussion about bow ties and auto eroticism. 

Idris' remarks were printed in the November issue of GQ UK, which is on newsstands now and features Twilight actress Kristen Stewart on the cover.

Thankfully, Idris did not wear a tie of any sort to the event!
