Last night in New York City all of the stars could be seen from the Top of Standard at the Standard Hotel.
The launch event for the new D'USSE Cognac (pronounced dew-say) went down and if you missed it, no stressin', we were there and got a chance to mingle with a few celebs and enjoy some of the new cognac and the entire experience was amazing.
Lets just start by saying that the place was packed, and as soon as we walked in we caught a glimpse of Pharrell Williams in all of his "blonde haired" glory. Jay-Z showed up to the event a little later and although Beyonce wasn't in tow, Solange came out to hang with Jay, Pharrell and even Jake Gyllenhaal, who also made an appearance.
DJ Jus Ske had the entire crowd rocking to a bunch of classic Roc-a-fella tunes, both old and new. As one of the newest members of Roc Nation, we guess he had to make sure the the boss's music was playing.
As an added bonus, we even got to watch the Knick vs Miami Heat game. Jay-Z is a huge fan of the team and Lebron James, so naturally he couldnt miss the game, even if he was at an event.
The real star of the party was the D'USSE cognac. It kept the crowd going the entire night and there were special mixed drinks created by famed mixologist Justin Noel. The drink on it's own is extremely smooth for a cognac and definitely something we would have again.
