Jeremy Scott & Adidas Go Ape For New Collabo! (PHOTOS)

Posted October 26, 2011 by Rachel Hislop for Global Grind Staff

Jeremy Scott has gotten furry once again!

The designer’s latest collaboration with Adidas lets you put your foot in an untamed animal, literally. But there is no need to dial the PETA police; we are just talking about some animal-inspired kicks.

When images of Scott’s latest collection with Adidas leaked, the doggie modeling the kicks lead commentators to believe that Scott, commonly known for his outlandish animal-inspired designs, was featuring a pair of kicks for the canines in his forthcoming spring/summer 2012 collection.

Scott’s reps, claiming the dog is just modeling a pair of children’s trainers, quickly rebutted the accusations.

Now that we know the line isn’t featuring canine foot coverings, we can concentrate on what it does actually feature: Sneakers.

Looking for a pair of kicks featuring an enthusiastically optimistic gorilla? Then Scott is your man. The designer, who is a favorite of Kanye, Gaga, and Gwen Stefani, includes furry black gorilla shoes - complete with smiling gorilla faces - and leopard-print sneaks with tails in his latest collection.

For the time being, all we have are these furry leaked photos to drool over and no word on when the leopard kicks will hit Opening Ceremony!
