Today adidas announced that they would be adding NBA superstar point guard John Wall to their list of adidas sponsored players!

John, who missed the first 33 games of the 2012-13 NBA season with a knee injury he suffered over the summer, is set to make his season debut against the Atlanta Hawks on Saturday night and we’re sure it will be in a fresh pair of adidas.

John now joins the likes of Derrick Rose, Dwight Howard and Tim Duncan as leading ambassadors for adidas Basketball. The 2010 No. 1 overall draft pick was once a part of the Reebok basketball program, but it seems like his injury may have given him some time to reconsider.

In addition to contributing to product development and brand growth, John will participate in various adidas marketing initiatives in the coming months. We can only hope that a shoe deal will come out of this as well -we may have to find a name a little bit catchier than the Air Wall though. Make sure you check back with GlobalGrind for any updates.
