Kanye West is auctioning off an autographed pair of his Nike Air Yeezy IIs for the Re/Create New York auction to benefit victims of superstorm Sandy.

There's no doubt in our mind that superstorm Sandy caused great devastation throughout the East Coast of the United States. New York and surrounding states were especially affected by the storm and many people, both civilian and celebrity alike, have come together to help with the efforts to get those affected back on their feet.

Re/Create New York is one such organization that teamed up with your favorite celebrities from the worlds of fashion, music and entertainment to auction off one-of-a-kind items to donate to the Hurricane Sandy relief effort. Some of the standout pieces include Nicola Formichetti's customized Mugler purse that has not been released as of yet, an autographed Mini Stam bag by Marc Jacobs, Kate Moss' book that she has not only autographed, but also kissed, and an autographed pair of Air Yeezy IIs by Kanye West himself.

Other recognizable names participating are Skrillex, Vivienne Westwoood, Alexander Wang, Tom Ford and Kim Jones.
