It’s quite possible that Karl Lagerfeld’s cat has a better life than you do!
The white Siamese feline was originally only a house-guest staying with the Chanel Creative Director because his favorite male muse, model Baptiste Giabiconi, gave it to him to watch during the Christmas holiday.
Since then, Karl has refused to give the cat back, stating in an interview with WWD: “She was too cute.”

Choupette the Cat reportedly has two maids to wait on her hand and foot. She’s also a tech savvy kitty because she owns and uses an iPad! Mr. Lagerfeld recently tweeted a picture of the cat playing on the tablet as if she was a pro.
The maids are also responsible for reporting everything that the Choupette is doing while Karl is away. If she eats well, it gets documented. So far the two maids have amassed a 600 page diary of the cat’s routine.
“It could be funny to make a little book of Choupette’s diary,” Karl tells WWD.

The pampered puss has her own Twitter account under the handle @ChoupettesDiary that has close to 6,000 followers. No word on whether Choupette posts from the iPad or the iPhone that she owns. Let’s hope Siri is fluent in kitty.
