Katy Perry Dives Into The Virtual World As A Sim (PHOTOS)

The ink has just dried on Katy Perry's deal to launch a line of false eyelashes, and the pop singer is gearing up to travel into the virtual world - as a Sim!

Katy doesn’t need to turn to reality television to get her time on screen. The virtual reality game has signed her on to be featured as a Sim in the collector's edition of The Sims 3: Showtime. 

According to EA, makers of the game, the "Teenage Dream" singer was extremely hands-on in the process:

Perry worked with the Sims Studio to create accessories, clothing, hairstyles, furniture and props for the Sims game. The Katy Perry Collector's Edition includes an expansion pack and poster, as well as stage props, fashions and instruments inspired by the brightly hued singer.

As for Katy, despite all the negativity attempting to infiltrate her livelihood, the singer stays positively enthused about her new collaboration:

"It's cool to see the Sims' stage performances in 'The Sims 3: Showtime' decked out just like my California Dreams Tour -- even my cotton candy video screens are in there! I always like to think of myself as a cartoon, and now I'm a Sim!"

The "Katy Perry Sims 3: Showtime" game is available for pre-order today.
