Remember that scene in Sex and the City where Carrie loses herself over Mr. Big and dyes her infamous blonde locks brown? It seems like Katy Perry is having one of those "Carrie moments" in her latest cover shoot for L'Officiel Magazine.

The French mag has transformed our beloved candy queen into a red haired model for the cover of their September issue and the "California Gurl" is barely recognizable! 

Katy looks a lot more demure than we are used to seeing her with this new look. It almost borders on a high fashion version of Poison Ivy, but we know our beautiful Katy is no villain.
