Last night, as the cast of Twilight took the stage at the 2012 MTV Music Video Awards to present the first look at the final installment of the smash series; Kristen Stewart was nowhere to be found. 

The entire cast, including Robert Patterson, took the stage and showed a clip of the ex-couple in character canoodling - talk about awkward!

Meanwhile, Kristen was somewhere else doing something else, and not glued to her TV in a sweatshirt weeping over the VMAs. Instead she did what any girl suffering from heartbreak would do after a month of solitude, dressed up and hit the red carpet at the Toronto Film Festival to celebrate the premiere of her new film On The Road.

Kristen looked pleasant in a floral dress as she hit the red carpet for the first time since her cheating scandal was revealed.
