Lala Anthony is doing the damn thing!

As if being on the newsstands in this month’s issue of Vogue magazine wasn’t enough, the TV hostess, wife, mother and business owner is now on the cover of this week’s edition of Rolling Out Magazine.

Lala’s cover is a follow-up to Diggy Simmons’ cover last week, but her interview takes on a new life when she talks about the biggest misconceptions that people have about her career, stating people still have questions about what she does for a living.

Sometimes, one thing that I hear that is a misconception is, “what does she do?” And, “what is her job?” It’s the craziest thing, as anyone knows, being a mom is a full-time job. [I’m also] a wife, and I did a reality show, and I just did a movie. I’ve done television series, I produced the Mike Tyson documentary a few years ago, I’m producing reality shows, I have a makeup line and I’m working on my new collection. I am pretty much working all day and I’m walking into an ABC show now to see Kim [Kardashian] and it’s six o’clock in the morning!

Who would dare question what Lala does for a living? If launching new makeup line, Motives by Lala, and holding down a successful reality TV series between being a hands-on mommy and a successful wife while maintaining a social presence isn’t enough then we don’t know what is!

Lala also spoke about her decision to wait 8 years for her rring from Knicks hubbie, Carmelo.

Every woman should figure out what works best for your relationship. For me, it was not about waiting for a ring, my husband and I were taking our time, we’ve been together for eight years, and you’ve got to know what’s best for your own relationship. You’ve got to figure out what works best for you. What works for me, might not work for you and vice versa. As a woman you know when it feels right, and when it doesn’t, and you have to follow your intuition on that.
