What do you do when you’re a filmmaker and share an April 9th birth date with both Marc Jacobs & Hugh Hefner?
You do a project that incorporates the work of all three of you!
Well that’s what Claire Edmondson did and her end result is a tastefully done video, celebrating the female form, that features topless women and Louis Vuitton bags – titled “Me, Marc and Hugh.”

The obviously NSFW video is an homage to Hugh’s work as a pornographer, Marc’s history as creative director for Louis Vuitton and her work as a filmmaker. It is being called a “birthday card,” but we’ve never seen a card quite like this, and we wouldn’t mind seeing it again!
In an interview with Vice Magazine, Edmondson said:
“Me, Marc and Hugh” is an art project that just sort of came to me a few years ago when I was looking at a “famous people who share your birthday” list. Marc Jacobs and Hugh Hefner were the two I identified with on that list and thought it would be fun to turn it into a humorous art project of sorts—a merging of worlds and aesthetics brought together because we share the same birth date. But besides the April 9th birth date, I see a common thread in our interests, work ethics, and ambitions. I forgot about the idea for a while and then remembered about a month ago and thought it would be a fun project to release as a “birthday card” for the three of us.

Claire doesn’t even know Marc or Hugh personally but with a card like this, we wouldn’t be surprised if they get to know each other very soon. Take a look!
